Selphie is very cheerful and extremely positive. She will aways find some positive sites. And she has some obsession with big weapons and bombs. She trained to become a SeeD in Trivia Garden but needed to take the practical part of the test in Balamb Garden. That's where she gets to meet Squall and becomes one of his companions. Sometimes she seems a bit childish but this is only fassade. She is the one in charge of the Balamb garden festival.
